I was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1984, to two great parents. When I was growing up we moved around a lot, from Charleston to Knoxville, TN, to parts of Virginia, Illinois, Michigan, DC, and finally made it to Texas.I went to high school in Texas, and also started to explore everything. It wasn't easy being attracted to big burly older men when I was at such a young age, but luckily I had the internet, and that's where I first found the term "bear."
It was a way to identify what I was interested in in a positive way. As I got older I became more involved in the bear community, and found out that many bears were not so kind to "outsiders" who didn't fit in.
The bear community was started to encourage acceptance of other people, so us chasers (not twinks) belong here just as much as everyone else.
I sometimes think the lesbian bears (bears who like bears) are just jealous because we get the hotter ones (everyone knows a bear who likes chasers is more attractive 99% of the time).
Other than bears, I am also interested in comics whether they be mainstream superheroes, or adult independent comics ie: Vertigo. I love independent music, and occasionally enjoy a hockey game.
